In English
Welcome to my website. Unfortunately most of its content is in Swedish, but on this page you can find some information about my current research and previous experiences. Generally speaking, my research is focused on political communication, particularly in a comparative perspective. More specifically, most of my research is focused on four broad areas of interest:
1) Political news journalism and election news coverage,
2) Strategic political communication, political marketing and political public relations,
3) The media’s role and effects in opinion formation processes, and
4) The mediatization of politics
During the first years of my research I only published in Swedish, but since 2004 I have focused more and more on writing in English and on doing comparative research together with colleagues in other countries. On another page you can find a list of all my publications, and I also have a separate page with my English publications. If you are interested in any paper or article, which cannot be downloaded at this site, please just send me an email (jesper.stromback@miun.se) and I will send it to you.
